Software Development Manager

Aspire Digital Group is a multi-platform digital innovation company at the intersection of AI, fintech, e-commerce and digital content. Our core products – Zinga, Alby Marketplace, and Goldroom are reshaping digital user experiences across the hospitality industry.
We’re seeking a Software Development Manager to lead cross-functional engineering teams, guide technical strategy, and drive R&D innovation in AI, automation, and scalable platform architecture. This role is critical to delivering our roadmap and includes long-term leadership and partnership potential for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee software development across multiple product teams (Zinga, Alby, Goldroom).
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture.
- Lead and manage teams of full-stack developers, DevOps engineers, QA testers, and UI/UX specialists.
- Own the R&D pipeline for AI tools and integrations, including agentic AI and data-driven features.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO, CPO, and COO on platform vision and innovation
- Implement best practices in agile, CI/CD, testing, and DevSecOps.
- Manage system security, compliance, and performance for multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Partner with external vendors, advisors, and research institutions to enhance R&D outcomes.
- Monitor team productivity, code quality, and deliverables across cycles.
- Mentor and grow engineering talent with a focus on innovation and problem-solving.
- Prepare technical documentation, infrastructure plans, and API frameworks for scalability.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- At least 3 years in a technical leadership or software management position.
- Strong expertise in modern frameworks and languages: React, Vue, Node.js, Python, Django, Laravel.
- Experience in AI integration, automation tools, or machine learning frameworks.
- Proficiency with containerization, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), GitHub workflows, and DevOps tooling.
- Background in agile delivery, product iteration, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, API security, and data governance.
- Excellent team leadership, cross-functional communication, and stakeholder coordination.
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is highly regarded.
