Food Technologist & Business Manager

The Food Technologist & Business Manager is responsible for food innovation, qualitycontrol & quality assurance, procurement, sourcing, ordering, rostering, menu & productdevelopment, costing, food processing, food service, and operational streamlining acrossAspire Hospitality Group (AHG) and Aspire Digital Group (ADG). This role ensures productconsistency, supply chain efficiency, menu & product optimization, operational effectiveness,and seamless integration between business and digital platforms, including Zinga, AlbyMarketplace, and Goldroom.
The position also supports app testing and optimization, ensuring that procurement, ordering,and business operations align with Zinga, Alby and Goldroom ecosystem while streamliningfood processing workflows for cost efficiency and production scalability.
Key Competencies & Skills Required :
- Food Science & Technology Expertise – Experience in food innovation, safety, and product development.
- Menu Engineering & Cost Analysis – Ability to develop scalable, cost-effective, and profitable menus.
- Procurement & Supply Chain Management – Strong negotiation skills for ingredient and product sourcing and supplier relations.
- Ordering & Inventory Control – Proficiency in stock management, cost analysis, and Odoo integration.
- Food Processing & Workflow Optimization – Experience in streamlining kitchen operations for efficiency.
- Digital & App Testing – Knowledge of ADG ecosystem functionality and app-based operations.
- Workforce Planning & Rostering – Experience in team coordination, shift scheduling, and productivity optimization.
- Strategic Business Management – Understanding of cost control, operational efficiency, and digital marketplace expansion.
- Customer Engagement & Revenue Growth – Ability to enhance marketplace sales and optimize pricing strategies.
