Aspire Digital Group is an innovation-driven company operating at the intersection of AI, fintech, e-commerce and digital media. Our core platforms; Zinga, Alby Marketplace and Goldroom are building a connected ecosystem to transform the way hospitality industries interact with technology.
As part of our next phase of product innovation and platform development, we are recruiting a Software Engineer with a focus on R&D and AI to contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation features. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an engineer with strong foundations in software architecture and a passion for experimenting with intelligent systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with product and engineering leads to develop intelligent features for Zinga, Alby, and Goldroom.
- Build and test APIs, backend logic, and automation tools in a modular, scalable architecture.
- Contribute to the R&D roadmap and develop AI tools (e.g., NLP, recommendation engines, agentic AI).
- Optimise platform performance and user experience across web and mobile interfaces.
- Work across the full development lifecycle; concept, build, test, deploy, and iterate.
- Engage in code reviews, testing protocols, and security compliance across services.
- Explore and prototype new frameworks and AI/ML models relevant to the platform’s use cases.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs for payments, CRM, logistics, or analytics as needed.
- Support platform reliability with bug tracking, documentation, and version control best practices.
- Participate in cross-functional brainstorming and tech strategy planning sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in modern frontend/backend stacks (React, Vue, Node.js, Python/Django, Firebase, Laravel).
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, API integrations, or automation frameworks.
- Experience with version control (GitHub), DevOps pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of data structures, secure coding practices, and RESTful API design.
- Creative thinker with the ability to explore new tools and contribute to R&D initiatives.
- Strong debugging, testing, and documentation habits.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within agile teams.

- Salary negotiable between $80,000 and $183,100 depending on skill level and experience.
